Financial Accountant
Reporting to the Financial Manager and working closely with the Senior Financial Accountant, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for maintaining and filing accurate and consistent accounts for the company. In conjunction with the Financial Manager and Senior Financial Accountant, the individual will be responsible for generating all information for Financial reporting including the annual budget requirements.
Accountable for:
- The day-to-day control and organisation of their duties within the Finance department.
- Responsibility for the completion of all aspects of the Moog Ltd monthly accounts including inventory, WIP and actual versus budget cost analysis.
- Responsibility for the creation and maintenance of worksheets to assist in the completion of the annual budget process.
- Assist in the generation of forecast data and compare to current year budget and prior year forecast, as required for S&OP reviews.
- Responsibility for the preparation of information required for annual insurance renewals and liasing with HR as part of company pension reviews.
- The Financial Accountant is also responsible for all cash administration in the company including completion of monthly cash forecast information, as required by Moog IFSC.
Specific Responsibilities;
- Maintenance of the general ledger and reconciling general ledger balances to ancillary ledgers.
- Generating a set of accurate Moog Ltd. monthly accounts for distribution to management within 5 days of month-end.
- Generating cost centre accounts of actual versus budget spend within 7 days of month end.
- Completion of accurate quarterly reporting package and entry into Hyperion in accordance with corporate deadlines.
- Completion of accurate annual accounts in accordance with corporate deadlines. Preparing a file for the auditors to support the balances in our accounts.
- Consolidation of all inputs into the annual budget process and generating our budget to internal deadlines.
- Completion of the Corporate budget package in accordance with set deadlines.
- Generating rates per hour from our budget and transfer price estimates for the following year. In addition, review of actual rates per hour and modification if required by our procedures.
- Complete forecast information on an ongoing basis, which consolidates our actual data and forecast data to be compared with our budget & assist in the S&OP process.
- Preparation of periodic PAYE/PRSI, P35, VAT VIES/INTRASTAT returns along with Census/survey returns.
- Maintain cash recording of the company on Microsoft money (or similar product). Manage petty cash, foreign currency requirements and cash flow forecasting.
- Periodic summary fixed asset reporting.
- Ongoing review of work practices for elimination, automation or improvement.
- Close cooperation with the Senior Financial Accountant to provide back up services to cover absences.
- Ensure compliance for all Sarbanes Oxley related requirements of the organization.
- Ad hoc information as required from time to time, including pension and insurance related information.

Core Product Financial Manager
The Core Product Financial Manager is accountable for providing timely reporting information and active monitoring to assist in the management of the Core Product Lines. This is a position that will service global and regional demands, supporting the Director of Core Product Development & Supply, the Product Line Managers and the Supply Chain Manager.
Key accountabilities include: - Timely reporting and monitoring of actual costs versus budget for the Core Product Line development projects (NPI's) and also for the Core Product Line cost centres.
- Timely reporting and monitoring of Operational Metrics in relation to supply of Core Products. This also includes periodic reporting of actual v set cost variances by product line.
- Provide sensitivity and decision support analysis on supply chain projects.
- Periodic reviews of site cost accounting systems and long-term contract accounting to ensure conformity with US GAAP and Moog policies.
- Liasing with Financial Controllers to periodically report all R&D, including Core Products and non-Core Products.
- Meeting support to regularly attend quarterly PLM meetings, Regional Controller meetings and other meetings as required.
Qualifications & Experience Required- Degree in Business/Accounting
- Significant experience of cost accounting systems within a US owned multi-site manufacturing business
- Track record of experience of Industry Operations, Supply Chain management and Product Development
- Significant experience of integrated business systems and budgeting software
- Proficiency with routine business analytical tools
- Track record of experience in providing financial analyses and active cost management
- Excellent communication skills and ability to forge strong personal relationships
- Willingness to travel frequently

Hardware Design Engineer
Role The successful candidate will design and develop digital solutions for Moogs Brushless Motor Control products.
Primary Tasks- Will be responsible for VHDL design, implementation, integration and testing. Will be involved in specification development and review.
- Actively participate in VHDL design reviews, VHDL code reviews etc as required.
- Work under direction of senior engineering staff.
Required Skills for Primary Task- Proficient in VHDL language.
- In-depth knowledge of digital design blocks and logic manipulation.
- Experience of memory bus interfaces and memory interface design.
- Knowledge of electronic devices and FPGA communication with electronic devices (e.g. A/D, D/A, optical encoders).
- Clear understanding of FPGA design constraints and FPGA optimisation.
- Experience of FPGA design verification through simulation test cases.
Secondary Tasks- Component selection for microprocessor based designs
- Schematic creation for designs containing both digital and analog circuits.
- Give direction on PCB design
- Actively participate in product integration and testing.
- Work under direction of senior engineering staff.
Required Skills for Secondary Task- Good working knowledge of digital and analog components and circuits.
- Knowledge of PCB design package.
Associated Tasks- Design team member in an ISO9OO1 environment.
- Achieve defined project goals / milestones within tight project schedules.
Additional Skills are Advantageous- Knowledge of Altera and Xilinx FPGAs .
- Experience in developing with the Altera Quartus development tools and Xilinx toolkit
- Experience in developing with 32-bit Power PC architecture, Analog Devices and/or Texas Instruments DSPs.
- Knowledge of Brushless Motor Control.

Quality Auditor
Job Description:
The Quality Auditor will carry out Inspection and Auditing duties within the company as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Reports to:
Quality Engineering Supervisor
Responsible for:
The Quality Auditor is accountable for the In-Process, Incoming Inspection and Outgoing Inspections to which he / she has been assigned for that period.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that audited product meets product acceptability standards including IPC-610C
- Ensuring that specified product auditing sequence and sample size is observed
- Recording inspection/audit results
- Ensuring all necessary process/product documentation is completed, including routers
- Filing and archiving of records as defined by procedure
- Ensuring process/product procedures are accurately observed
- Highlighting any discrepancies found during auditing including safety, ESD, or housekeeping
- Assisting in the certification process of operators
- Supporting Production Team Leaders in ensuring that priorities are completed
Additional Responsibilities:
- Communication of Quality Issues
- Support Production Cell or Improvement Team activity
- Providing cover for other Quality Auditors where requested by supervisor
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of IPC-A-610 standard and application

Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Role The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of embedded software for Moogs Motor Control products.
Primary Tasks- The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the software life cycle i.e. requirements definition, architectural design, implementation, integration and testing as part of a multi-site development team.
- The successful candidate will be expected to participate in design reviews, code reviews etc as required. This will involve some travel.
- The successful candidate will be expected to work towards achievement of defined project goals/milestones within tight project schedules.
Associated Tasks- Design team member in an ISO9OO1 environment.
- Achieve defined project goals / milestones within tight project schedules.
Required Education- 2nd Class Honours degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science. A PhD or MSc is an advantage.
Required Skills- The successful candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience with a minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role.
- The successful candidate will be proficient in the C language.
- The successful candidate should have a demonstrated ability in the design and development of hard real-time embedded systems to defined project schedules.
Additional Skills Experience in any of the following areas is an advantage:
- Motorola Power PC architecture.
- Texas Instruments Motor Control DSPs.
- Serial Communications such as CAN, Ethernet, Profibus, Firewire, Sercos.

Senior PCB Draughtsperson
Role The successful candidate will provide PCB layout support to the engineering group.
Principal Activities
- Updates to existing PCB designs
- Adherence to Design for Manufacture guidelines
- Maintenance of part libraries
- Ensuring integrity of information
- Supporting engineering group with parts list and schematic generation
Experience- Degree level education an advantage
- 7-10 years industry experience in *PCAD2001/PCAD version 8/Cadence Allegro
- Familiarity with DFM guidelines
- Good mechanical reasoning ability
- Electronic Engineering background preferred.
