This position is responsible for applying knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and quality requirements and procedures in an environment with an electronic focus. To provide technical support to customers, suppliers and government agencies to guarantee compliance to contract requirements, and to provide technical leadership with respect to maintaining integrity of product design and control.
Requires identifying areas for improvement in product manufacturability and reliability and initiating necessary changes to incorporate them.
Experience developing plans and methods for inspection, testing, sampling and training related to development and production work environments and associated products.
A technical Bachelor degree, preferably in Electronics Engineering.
Eight years experience with demonstrated knowledge of electronic systems and a depth of understanding in the design, manufacture and assembly of control boxes, power supplies and related products for aerospace applications is highly desired.
Background in statistical methods, lean initiatives, and process improvement is preferred.
Experience with DCMA and FAA requirements and specifications is beneficial, but not required.
Audit, inspection, test, and calibration experience is beneficial, but not required.
Project leadership, organization, self-discipline, and experience coordinating with other sites and groups is expected.
Along with electronics, experience with hydraulic, mechanical, electromechanical, and embedded software applications is beneficial, but not required.
