Digital High Performance Motion Controllers

The M3000 is Moog's answer to advanced digital high performance control for hydraulic and electric products. It includes the hardware called Moog's Servo Controller (MSC), software known as Moog Axis Control Software (MACS) and numerous extension modules. Our solutions often involve this controller and a variety of Moog products such as Servovalves, Servo-Proportional Valves, Servodrives and RKP Pumps.

This system of hardware, software, and extension modules offers rapid implementation and set-up to save time and money. As it is based on universal standards and a modular structure it is flexible and easy to implement.

The MSC is a high performance servo controller with PLC functionality capable of handling complex multi-axis functions and enabling cycle times as fast as 500 microseconds.

MACS is an IEC61131-3 programming language based on the CoDeSys universal standard. It provides full programming, debugging, simulation, parameterization, visualization and tracing capabilities. Extensive function blocks designed by Moog experts enable easy implementation of closed-loop applications.

Moog's also offers various analog ( QAIO ) and digital ( QDIO ) modules for the extension of the local inputs and outputs (I/O). CAN extension modules ( QCAN ) are also available. In addition remote modules are available including I/O Remote Extension ( RDIO ), 8-Channel Temperature Controller ( RTEMP8 ) and Operator Panel ( RDISP ).
