Innovating Next-Generation Flight Control Systems
Military aircraft require high performance flight controls to achieve mission success. Each successive generation of aircraft requires flight control systems that deliver increased performance through smaller, lighter and more reliable solutions.
Moog is advancing the state of the art in flight controls with the development of high performance, Electrohydrostatic Actuation (EHA) systems. These systems are being used to meet the demand for more electric aircraft designs. The EHA flight control system eliminates the need for centralized hydraulic systems, reducing the overall weight of the aircraft and improving maneuverability. In addition, the self contained nature of EHA designs make the aircraft more survivable in combat.
Moog provides EHA flight controls for the most challenging aerospace applications, including the world's fifth generation fighter aircraft and next generation military transport.
