I joined Moog Brazil 20 years ago as a new Engineer in the Applications Dept. It was quite a challenge for me at that time as I had never worked for an international company or a company with closed loop controls.
Since then I have grown, learned, and collaborated with the company. I also feel that the company has recognized and awarded my efforts and dedication accordingly. There were quite a few surprises during the time I am here, but maybe the most important is how the company manages difficult periods, where people are the main concern. The Company’s efforts to preserve people, and try to keep the best possible environment, are really amazing.
Through effort, dedication and commitment I became the Business Manager for Latin America, i.e, I am responsible for sales and support for customers in South and Central America, outside Brazil. It is quite an interesting activity as I have to deal with different countries, people, cultures and ways to communicate and do business. Thankfully, Moog offers a very good support system to develop everybody’s jobs, and encourages people to make decisions, take risks and have responsibility.
My whole family, and most of my friends, recognize that I am in a good professional situation, considering the company I work for, and the position I have.
My wife and kids (2 boys, 18 and 15) follow and support me all the time, so I am very proud to share every new experience and challenge with them, and I also encourage my kids to follow the same path, i.e, put their best efforts in everything they do.
