Put simply, I came to work at Moog because it's the best. I was working for another company on a military project that required the use of Moog products. During this time, I realized that Moog is the leading manufacturer of actuators and no one else even comes close.  It seemed to be the perfect place to achieve my ambitions; somewhere I could develop my skills with the very best engineers in the world and also somewhere I could be proud to work.

On my first day, I was obviously nervous about adapting to a new company and a new job. But I found that the working environment at Moog has the same excellence as its technical products. In fact, I now think that the two things are linked inextricably. My new colleagues were very willing to support me and they gave me a hand in settling-in and learning about everything we do. It was so friendly, so trusting, that the nerves I had just disappeared and I became a part of the team quickly.

I've developed so much at Moog. I remember working in Germany and enjoying it more than I ever thought I would. I learned a whole new set of skills to apply to my work in my own country, but I also learnt a lot about global cultures and people. It's a huge bonus to work for a big worldwide company like Moog where there's always something new to learn and work on, and always someone new to meet. I really like the fact that, despite being a global company, Moog retains across its locations a culture of trust and support.
