Production Planner
I joined Moog twenty years ago because I saw that they were open and flexible, which were very important factors in choosing my career. I wanted to work and have a family so I needed to be part of an understanding company who could offer a good balance between my work and my life. I found this at Moog.
When I started I joined the Production team. I felt right at home from the start because there were plenty of sociable activities like sports days, staff trips, bowling outings and so on. There was a relaxed atmosphere and it was nice to be in an environment like that. It's a really sociable place; the company events build up lots of connections between friends and families. My career started to progress and, after I returned from my second maternity leave, I started to take on duties in Production Control. I really enjoy this because it means I participate in global projects and get to interact with Moog people from all over the world, as well as going on business trips abroad.
Moog has a flexible system meaning holidays can be taken in hourly units, so despite my extra commitments I find it much easier to keep work in balance with my home life and bringing up my children. They are very understanding and help me in both my career and my family life.
