I have now just completed my 28th month of employment with Moog and the experience has surpassed anything I could have ever expected.  As this was my first job as a graduate I had no real experience to offer just plenty of enthusiasm and a keen willingness to learn.  Having gained enough experience I have been given large proportions of various projects to conduct and manage on my own, with support always on offer from colleagues and my supervisor should I need it.

With any new job there is a lot to take on and learn.  Moog specialises in designing and testing a wide range of complex components and products; this is one of the reasons why they lead the industry in flight control systems, among others.  Learning about the components is challenging in itself, everyday I learn something new and see a performance characteristic that I hadn't expected.  Challenges such as these are a part of what keeps the job interesting.  Working as part of a team, there are always plenty of chances to discuss any issues concerning a project with colleagues so that you may learn from the experience of others and tackle problems quickly and effectively.  The working environment is very open at Moog, this being another reason why Moog is so successful at the worldwide design and manufacture of precision control components.
