I started in this industry 21 years ago, and I've seen a few management changes since then. I originally worked for Fokker Aircraft, which then changed to Fokker Space, and then there was a management buyout that changed us to FCS Control Systems. In 2005 FCS was bought by Moog which I think works really well. Moog appreciates people for what they contribute to the company, and any ideas you have are listened to and if they're good then they're implemented. It sounds simple but Moog makes sure it really works and not every company can do that.

Currently I'm a Contracts Specialist but I still take on many other tasks. I suppose I'm pretty experienced and I've picked up a few things over the years because of the different roles I've had. That's the great thing about working here; you get to work on so many different projects and it builds up your skills and experience. That also means every day is interesting and challenging - there are always new problems and tasks to work on.

I'm happy to work with Moog because they combine all the things I liked most about the other companies I've experienced over the years, but they've got the global scale and the expertise to keep growing.
