Production & Site Facilities Manager

I came to Moog as a contractor in May 2007 to cover the Assembly and Test Manager role for an employee who was away from work due to long-term sickness. I was sold immediately. It was such a great experience I just wanted to stay. Before my contract expired I was approached by the Site Manager and HR Director and offered a permanent position at the company. I couldn't have been more pleased. Of course, I said yes.

I enjoy my work and feel that this was a company and a culture that can get the best out of me. And I pretty sure I'm not the only one. I've not one specific memory but I often recall how people change here. They transform from someone who comes into work just to get the job done into energized individuals who show a commitment to making daily improvements in themselves and our practices.

And in my role today I get to meet so many of them. I lead the production and manufacturing activities at the site. That's the machining, fitting, assembly & test and the pneumatics areas. In addition, our continuous improvement team also reports into me and I manage the facilities department. I'm exposed to a great deal of our work. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
