Moog Acquires Bradford Engineering B.V.

East Aurora, NY - Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that it has acquired Bradford Engineering B.V. The purchase price is approximately €10 million in cash. Bradford, founded in 1983, is a European developer and manufacturer of satellite equipment including satellite attitude and orbit control subsystems, propulsion and thermal subsystems and components.

Moog Announces Share Repurchase Program

Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that its Board of Directors has authorized a share repurchase program. The program permits the Company to buy up to one million common shares, whether Class A or Class B shares, in open market or privately negotiated transactions at the discretion of management.

Moog Announces New Chief Executive

East Aurora, NY, Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that its Board of Directors has elected John Scannell to be Chief Executive Officer. Robert T. Brady, who has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will continue in the role of Executive Chairman. The Board also elected Gary Szakmary a Vice President of the Corporation. Mr. Szakmary is the Company’s Chief Human Resources Officer.

Moog Announces Fourth Quarter EPS Up 17% and Fiscal 2011 EPS Up 25%

East Aurora, NY - Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today fiscal year 2011 sales of $2.33 billion, up 10%. Net earnings were $136 million and earnings per share of $2.95 were up 26% and 25%, respectively compared to last year. For the fourth quarter, sales of $619 million were up 8% from last year. Net earnings were $38 million, up 18%, and earnings per share of $.83 were 17% higher than last year.

Moog's Third Quarter EPS Increase 14%

East Aurora, NY - Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today third quarter earnings of $33.8 million, or $.73 a share, an increase of 14% over last year’s $.64 per share. Sales in the quarter of $583 million were up 9% from last year’s $537 million.

Moog Selected to Provide Actuation System for Boeing Next-Generation KC-46 Tanker

(NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that its Aircraft Controls segment has received an order from Boeing for the refueling boom actuation system on the KC-46 aircraft. The United States Air Force recently selected Boeing to build the next generation KC-46 aerial refueling tanker to replace 179 of the service’s KC-135 tankers.

Moog Acquires Crossbow Technologies Inc.

East Aurora, NY – Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that it has acquired Crossbow Technology Inc. Crossbow, headquartered in Milpitas, CA, is a designer and manufacturer of acceleration sensors that are integrated into inertial navigation and guidance systems. The products are used in a variety of aerospace, defense and transportation applications. The purchase price is approximately $32 million, net of Crossbow’s cash balances.

Moog Acquires Animatics

East Aurora, NY - Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that it has acquired Animatics Corporation. The purchase price is approximately $25 million consisting of 467,749 shares of Moog Class A stock (based on a 30 day average price of $42.76) and $5 million in cash. Animatics, founded in 1987, is a leading supplier of SmartMotor™ servo motors and linear actuators used in industrial applications. Animatics had trailing 12 month revenues of $15 million.

Moog Reports 22% Increase in Net Earnings

East Aurora, NY - Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) today announced second quarter earnings of $31 million, a 22% increase over last year’s second quarter. Earnings per share of $.66 were 20% higher. Total sales of $574 million were up $64 million, or 12%, from a year ago.

Moog Recalls Curlin Ambulatory Infusion Pump Models 6000 CMS, 6000 CMS IOD, PainSmart, and PainSmart IOD

East Aurora, NY– Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has classified the voluntary correction of the Curlin 6000 CMS, Curlin 6000 CMS IOD, PainSmart, and PainSmart IOD as a Class I recall. The affected models were manufactured and updated from May 2007 to February 2011. The decision to conduct the device recall is due to a software anomaly which leads to software Error Code 45 (EC45), resulting in a shutdown of the pump. This failure may result in a delay or interruption of therapy, which could result in serious injury and/or death. To date there have been no adverse patient events reported to the Company.
