Flight Control System Provider on Challenger 300

Moog designed, qualified and supported FAA/JAA/TC certification on the Fly-by-Wire Spoiler and Pitch Trim Systems on Bombardier’s Challenger 300 business jet.  The flight control systems feature fully Redundant Command and Monitor architectures and include flight control computers, actuator control electronics, electrohydraulic and electromechanical flight control actuators and pilot controls.

The system was certified to FAR Part 25 and included software designed to DO-178B level A with DO-254 level A hardware assurance.  In addition to the Spoiler and Pitch Trim Systems, Moog also supplies key components of the primary flight control system, including the Elevator and Rudder servoactuators.
