Quality Policy
We at Moog Santa Barbara Operations (MSBO) are committed to the design, manufacture,assembly, and testing of leading technology, high quality products delivered on time and meeting design to cost customer expectations as well as to providing customer service and support which exceeds customer expectations. These goals are met through the engagement of teamwork, documented procedures, open communication, and the uncompromising attention to customer requirements. Quality and customer satisfaction is the responsibility of each individual at MSBO. The management team will actively pursue ever improving quality through programs that enable and empower each employee to do their job right the first time and every time.
Quality Management System (QMS)
Moog Santa Barbara Operations's QMS meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2000. It is self-certified with annual audits per ISO requirements. MSBO's Quality standards are in compliance with IPC and J-Standards 001, 002, and 003 for printed circuit board assembly, acceptance, materials, process support, solderability, and rework & repair. All critical mechanical and electronic equipment is calibrated to either the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) or ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 (American National Standards Institute/National Conference of Standards Laboratories). Also used is the ISO.IEC 17025 accreditation which establishes a set of guidelines requiring a quality system and proficiency testing of people performing tests or calibrations. MSBO facilities employ ESD static control based on ANSI/ESD S20.20 as well as an EPA and OSHA-compliant hazardous materials management system.
