Spacecraft Fluid Controls

Overview

With our dedication to mission success and our proven engineering, manufacturing and integration capabilities, we are your leading solution provider for propulsion component and subsystem challenges.

Our products are compatible with storable and cryogenic liquid and gas propellants used in monopropellant and bipropellant feed systems, thrusters, and rocket engines for manned and unmanned spacecraft and launch vehicles. Our extensive offerings include:

High Performance Green Propulsion (HPGP)

Without sacrificing performance, HPGP provides a low toxicity alternative to Hydrazine that makes handling, shipping, and storage issues related to monopropellant propulsion systems easier and safer, resulting in lower overall costs.

Subsystems

Our subsystem integration includes Propulsion Feed Systems which regulate propulsion pressure and controls flow between propellant tanks and thrusters. Some of our subsystems include:

  • DAWN Xenon Control Assembly
  • A2100 Propulsion Manifolds
  • LS1300 Pressure Management Assembly

Integrated Systems

Integrated systems manage the flow from storage to the point of use, typically for spacecraft applications. The fluid management systems generally consist of a pressure or flow management assembly, isolation valves, telemetry devices, and thermal management hardware. Systems may include service valves to provide access to the system for fluid loading or ground testing. Systems may include, at the customers' option, an integrated electronic control assembly. Examples of our integrated systems include:

  • TacSat-2 Xenon Feed System
  • PRISMA Hydrazine Reaction Control System
