Our partnerships allow us to see a product through systems engineering, integration, delivery, and post-delivery support. These agreements with Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. and ECAPS AB allow for the delivery of complete satellite propulsion solutions.
Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd.
Our partnership combines Moog extensive feed system and component heritage and capabilities with Rafael's propulsion engineering and launch support capabilities including its product lines of flight qualified hydrazine thrusters (1-N, 5-N and 25-N) and propellant tanks that can be used in hydrazine and High Performance Green Propulsion applications.
ECAPS AB
The Moog-ECAPS partnership brings High Performance Green Propulsion (HPGP) technology to the United States. HPGP provides an alternative to hydrazine without sacrificing performance and lowering the overall cost for monopropellant applications as a result of its low-toxicity characteristics. Benefits include:
- 6% better Isp than Hydrazine
- Environmentally benign
- Simpler and easier to handle, ship, store and dispose compared to Hydrazine
- Compatible with COTS components
