Moog's Third Quarter EPS Increased 22%

East Aurora, NY, Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today third quarter earnings of $31.1 million, or $.72 per share, an increase of 22% over $.59 per share a year ago. On a year-to-date basis, Moog’s earnings per share were $2.02, up 17% from $1.72 in the year previous.

Moog Selected to Provide Leading Edge Driving Simulator for Ferrari Formula 1

Moog Announces Investment in Wind Energy Business

The Company expects to acquire the remaining 60% in twelve months subject to conventional conditions of closing.

Moog Inc. Announces Pricing of Offering of Senior Subordinated Notes

East Aurora, NY, May 28, 2008, Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that it has priced its offering of $200 million 7¼% senior subordinated notes due 2018. The final terms of the notes reflect an increase of $50 million over the amount announced in Moog’s initial press release dated May 27, 2008. The notes will be issued at par and will mature on June 15, 2018. Interest on the notes will be payable semi-annually on June 15 and December 15 of each year, with interest to be paid beginning December 15, 2008. The notes are unsecured senior subordinated obligations of Moog. The net proceeds to Moog from the offering are expected to be $196.3 million and will be used to repay indebtedness under its bank credit facility. Moog expects that the notes will be issued on June 2, 2008, subject to customary closing conditions.

(NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today an offering of $150 million in aggregate principal amount of senior subordinated notes due 2018 to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933. Offers to persons outside the United States will be made pursuant to Regulation S under the Securities Act. Moog intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to repay indebtedness under its senior bank credit facility.

East Aurora, NY, Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) today announced second quarter earnings of $28.6 million, a 17% increase from a year ago on sales growth of 22%. Sales for the quarter were $469 million. On a per-share basis, earnings of $.66 were up 16% compared to a year ago.

Moog Announces Airbus A350 XWB Award

East Aurora, NY, Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that its Aircraft Controls Group has been selected by Airbus to supply primary flight control actuation for the A350 XWB. The A350 XWB (Xtra Wide-Body) family is Airbus' response to widespread market demand for a series of highly efficient medium-capacity long-range wide-body aircraft. With a range of up to 8,300 nautical miles, it is available in three basic passenger versions: the A350-800 accommodating 270 passengers, the A350-900 seating 314 and the A350-1000 for 350 passengers. Moog will supply the primary flight controls including aileron, elevator, rudder and spoiler actuators.

Moog Announces CFO Retirement

East Aurora, NY, Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced that Robert R. Banta, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has announced his intention to retire. Mr. Banta joined Moog in 1983 as Chief Financial Officer after a career in commercial banking. Over his twenty-five year career with Moog, Mr. Banta served as the architect of Moog’s financial structure while the Company grew from $166 million in sales to $1.558 billion and Moog’s market capitalization increased to nearly $2 billion. Mr. Banta will continue to actively serve as a Director on Moog’s Board, a position he was first elected to in 1990.

The earnings increase was achieved in spite of very heavy R&D expenditures on a variety of projects including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
