East Aurora, NY - Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today third quarter earnings of $33.8 million, or $.73 a share, an increase of 14% over last year’s $.64 per share. Sales in the quarter of $583 million were up 9% from last year’s $537 million.

Moog Selected to Provide Actuation System for Boeing Next-Generation KC-46 Tanker

(NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that its Aircraft Controls segment has received an order from Boeing for the refueling boom actuation system on the KC-46 aircraft. The United States Air Force recently selected Boeing to build the next generation KC-46 aerial refueling tanker to replace 179 of the service’s KC-135 tankers.

Moog Supplies Test System for Full-Scale Aircraft Tests to Aircraft Strength Research Institute (ASRI) of China

Moog Industrial Group, a provider of leading-edge solutions and products for the test industry, announced today that it has successfully delivered an aerospace test system to the Aircraft Strength Research Institute (ASRI) of China for full-scale aircraft tests. The order included a 192-channel control system and a 4096-channel data acquisition system. This order is ASRI’s largest test facility expansion project in the past five years, as well as Moog’s largest win in the Chinese aerospace test market.

Moog Acquires Crossbow Technologies Inc.

East Aurora, NY – Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that it has acquired Crossbow Technology Inc. Crossbow, headquartered in Milpitas, CA, is a designer and manufacturer of acceleration sensors that are integrated into inertial navigation and guidance systems. The products are used in a variety of aerospace, defense and transportation applications. The purchase price is approximately $32 million, net of Crossbow’s cash balances.

Moog Acquires Animatics

East Aurora, NY - Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that it has acquired Animatics Corporation. The purchase price is approximately $25 million consisting of 467,749 shares of Moog Class A stock (based on a 30 day average price of $42.76) and $5 million in cash. Animatics, founded in 1987, is a leading supplier of SmartMotor™ servo motors and linear actuators used in industrial applications. Animatics had trailing 12 month revenues of $15 million.
