Moog Receives Test System Orders from Airbus
12 May 2011Moog Industrial Group has received an order from Airbus in Hamburg Germany to supply 11 Moog test systems to provide a test capacity of 136 control channels. This order is in addition to those placed previously under a 10-year frame work contract between Airbus and Moog for the exclusive supply of multi-channel test systems for structural testing of aircraft.

2 May 2011East Aurora, NY - Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) today announced second quarter earnings of $31 million, a 22% increase over last year’s second quarter. Earnings per share of $.66 were 20% higher. Total sales of $574 million were up $64 million, or 12%, from a year ago.

NATRiP Selects Moog for Largest Order in India for Supply of Leading-Edge Automotive Test Equipment

Moog Recalls Curlin Ambulatory Infusion Pump Models 6000 CMS, 6000 CMS IOD, PainSmart, and PainSmart IOD
8 April 2011East Aurora, NY– Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has classified the voluntary correction of the Curlin 6000 CMS, Curlin 6000 CMS IOD, PainSmart, and PainSmart IOD as a Class I recall. The affected models were manufactured and updated from May 2007 to February 2011. The decision to conduct the device recall is due to a software anomaly which leads to software Error Code 45 (EC45), resulting in a shutdown of the pump. This failure may result in a delay or interruption of therapy, which could result in serious injury and/or death. To date there have been no adverse patient events reported to the Company.

Moog Announces New Bank Facility
21 March 2011East Aurora, NY, Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A AND MOG.B) announced it has closed on a new secured $900 million, five-year revolving credit facility. The new thirteen-bank arrangement replaces a $750 million revolving credit facility that would have matured in March of 2013. In addition to the increase in the facility size, the new agreement contains an accordion feature, which provides an opportunity to upsize the facility by an additional $200 million.
Moog to Present Two Technical Papers on Wind Turbine Blade Load Measurement and Pitch System Models at EWEA 2011
14 March 2011Engineers from Moog are scheduled to present two papers at Poster Sessions on Wednesday March 16 at 16.00 and 17.30 at EWEA, Europe’s premier wind energy event that takes place this year in Brussels. Topics are “A pitch system model for more realistic load simulations of wind turbines,” and “How to increase turbine payback with blade load measurement.” Moog, a leader in providing blade pitch control, slip ring and rotor monitoring solutions for the wind energy industry, has been a frequent presenter at previous global wind events.
