Moog Gas Control Valve 64 K Upgrade Program Extends GE 7FA Gas Turbine Operation by 33 Percent, Equaling 64 K Hours
The Industrial Group of Moog Inc. has launched the Moog Gas Control 64 K Upgrade for GE 7FA turbines to extend the maintenance interval of gas control equipment on these turbines from the typical 48,000 hours of operation to 64,000 hours of operation.
Moog Reconfigurable Integrated-weapons Platform Outfitted with M230LF Cannon on Exhibit at IDEX 2017
The RIwP has expanded its overmatch capability and added lethality with the successful integration and test firing of an M230LF cannon. Other recent enhancements include improved egress with the addition of a personnel hatch, and an optional Army production IBAS (Improved Bradley Acquisition Subsystem) sight.
Moog to Supply Motion Control Solution in Support of Northrop Grumman and U.S. Marine Corps Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) Program

(NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) Space and Defense Group has been awarded follow-on Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) contracts with both Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) and Saab Defense and Security USA, LLC to support the U.S. Marine Corps AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) program. Moog will provide a six-axis electromechanical motion control system that automatically levels the platform and elevates and rotates the radar array for efficient transport, rapid deployment, and precise operation.

Moog Inc. Naval Systems’ Business Unit was honored with a Supplier Quality Award from Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) for the second consecutive year. Moog today launched a new-generation Electro-Hydrostatic Pump Unit (EPU) that will help machine builders and end-users derive the combined benefits of both hydraulic and electric actuation.The Moog EPU is at the heart of electrohydrostatic actuation and helps enable the deployment of a decentralized drive system. This eliminates the need for a hydraulic power unit (HPU) and complex piping thereby reducing the overall machine footprint. The compact product design features a unique interface that enables direct mounting on to a cylinder thereby minimizing the requirement of additional space on each axis.
