High Performance Brushless DC Silencer Motors are New Solutions for Dusty and Wet Environments.
13 April 2007Blacksburg, VA – April 13, 2007 – Moog Components Group has announced the introduction of a new version of the Silencer™ Series brushless DC motor that will expand the motor line providing new motion solutions. The BN-IP motor is designed for those applications requiring reliability and high performance in dusty or wet environments. Typical uses for this motor are packaging and food processing equipment, medical pumps and robotic systems.
A key advantage of the motor is its smooth and efficient performance and ultra- quiet operation. The BN-IP motor offers high torque and precise, variable speed control. Standard and custom windings and four motor lengths are available. Moog Components Group utilizes patented designs that result in a rugged motor package with anodized aluminum housing and end caps, sealed bearings and connectors.
The BN-IP has continuous torque ratings from 2.4 to 519 oz-in (0.0170 to 3.67 Nm). The motor’s inside rotor construction allows for quick acceleration in a compact size.
