Moog Launches New AC7036 Slip Ring

Blacksburg, VA, USA – Moog’s Components Group segment, based in Blacksburg, VA, has announced the introduction of a new compact slip ring that combines two slip ring models into one unit. The AC7036 slip ring integrates an AC6349 and AC6355. This new combination offers a wide range of circuit capabilities.

Indian Railways Selects Moog Fatigue Test System to Boost Freight Capacity

East Aurora, NY, USA – Moog Industrial Group announced today that the Research Designs & Standards Organization (RDSO) division of the Indian Railways has placed a USD 4 million order for a test rig to perform fatigue testing on freight wagons. Moog and Thompson Friction Welding Develop World’s Largest Linear Friction Welding Machine

East Aurora, NY USA – Moog and Thompson Friction Welding have developed the world’s largest linear friction welding machine. It is capable of welding a surface area of 10,000 mm2 (15 in2), nearly twice as much as previously achieved, and breaks the record of weld forge load at 100 tonnes.
