27 April 2010

Blacksburg, VA, USA – Moog’s Components Group segment has announced that its UK operation has received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2010. Based in Reading, Berkshire, UK, the Company designs and manufactures special electro-mechanical products including slip rings, motion control components and integrated systems for a wide variety of industries ranging from industrial machinery to aerospace and defence.

The Company was formed in 1957 and became part of Moog Inc. in 2005.  The award recognizes outstanding achievement in increasing its export revenues by 222% over six years to £7 million per annum despite the economic recession.
