Moog Highlights Leading Edge Testing Systems

Moog Industrial Group announced today that it will showcase its comprehensive range of test systems at Automotive Testing India, 6-8 March, 2012.

Visitors to the Moog stand #4060 will learn about Moog’s wide range of automotive testing equipment and systems that include Tire Coupled Simulation Systems,Hydraulic Simulation SystemsSuspension Test SystemsActuatorsServo Valvesand Test Controllers. Moog experts will help visitors understand how these systems can be leveraged by automotive and component manufacturers to bring-to-market innovative and high quality products. Additionally, Moog’s Integrated Test Suite Software linked to the Portable Test Controller and the Modular Test Controller will be demonstrated.

During the show’s Open Technology Forum, Moog’s automotive test application manager for China, Mr. Dong Yan is to deliver a presentation titled, “Expand the realms of automotive testing using Moog’s versatile test systems.” The presentation will focus on why cutting-edge expertise and a collaborative approach is the key to rapid, reliable and versatile testing to improve competitiveness. Apart from discussing cutting edge products and systems, the presentation will also focus on new test controllers tailor-made for smaller, yet complex tests on components, materials and vehicles. Additionally Moog's innovative electric test solutions that allow for clean and cost effective testing will also be highlighted.

Visitors to the Moog stand can also interact and consult with Moog experts who are currently working on the National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Project (NATRiP). Earlier in 2011, Moog was awarded a contract to supply structural and fatigue test systems to NATRiP in India. Prior to the show, Mr. Terence Miranda, sales manager at Moog India said, “Our work on NATRiP is progressing well and we are certain that our equipment and systems at NATRiP sites will enable automotive OEMs and component manufacturers to have the most modern test facilities to meet international standards in automotive testing”.
