Hybrid FORJ

The Prizm™ Model CK7206 electro-optical slip ring assembly answers the need for an off-the-shelf product using proven high reliability components. This FORJ is the pressure compensation version, for subsea applications. The seven channel singlemode fiber optic slip ring is the first of it’s kind.

The brush technology used on the power and signal rings allows for extended operating life. Standardized configuration allows Moog to stock slip rings for quick access by customers.

Both singlemode and multimode FORJs in one and 7 pass models are available. The 7-channel FORJ can be configured for any combination of singlemode or multimode passes. Optical loss is typically less than 2.5 dB for all multimode passes. The single channel FORJ is packaged for use in harsh environments.
