Moog Announces Contract With Xiamen Airlines

East Aurora, NY, USA – Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that the Company signed a 10 year exclusive contract with Xiamen Airlines for comprehensive support of the Moog Flight Control Systems on Xiamen Airlines’ fleet of Boeing 787 aircraft. The program will include maintenance and inventory support via Moog’s strategically selected worldwide stocking locations, giving Xiamen 24/7 access to Moog spares.
Moog, the provider of both primary and high lift flight control systems on the 787, recently launched an entirely new suite of aftermarket support solutions. The Moog Total Support program is aimed at providing airlines with a comprehensive range of services for Moog products, including inventory and maintenance support.
"We are exceptionally proud that Xiamen Airlines has chosen the Moog Total Support program for our products on their fleet of 787 aircraft,” said Kate Schaefer, Moog's General Manager for Commercial Aircraft Services. “We look forward to supporting Xiamen Airlines with our cost effective alternative for both maintenance and global inventory support along with an unparalleled level of in-country service over the next 10 years."
Xiamen Airlines is a Chinese domestic and international airline based in Xiamen, Fuzhou and Hangzhou. Xiamen operates 218 domestic routes, and 26 international and regional routes, and offers more than 3,200 weekly flights. In 2013, Xiamen Airline carried more than 18.5 million passengers and its flight network covered major cities in China and extends to Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries
