Moog China to Provide Simulation Table and Hydraulic Servo Testing System for Nanjing Automobile (NAVECO) Research Institute R&D Centre

Moog has won a bid to supply a hydraulic simulation table and hydraulic servo testing system to Nanjing Automobile Research Institute, a subsidiary of NAVECO and Sino-foreign joint venture between IVECO and Nanjing Automobile, which is a sub-company of SAIC Motor. The Nanjing Automobile Research Institute, a nationally certified testing institute in China, required a vehicle and spare parts test bed for mini bus, light and medium duty trucks for a newly opened research and development centre in Jiangning, Nanjing.
The Nanjing Automobile Research Institute initiated bidding for three sets of hydraulic testing equipment including: A 12 ton 4-poster testing system, a Moog Simulation Table with a capacity of 1,500 lbs and six-degrees of freedom structure, and a hydraulic servo testing system with a 17-channel servo cylinder. Moog China was successful in winning the bid for both the simulation table and hydraulic servo testing system. Moog’s application engineers and sales managers worked diligently during the bid process, leveraging their expertise to help NAVECO perfect and improve on the technical requirements that were needed.
