DYNAMIC SERVO MOTORS WITH LOW INERTIA AND SMALL DIAMETERS

Moog AM servo motors (6-poles) are designed for highly dynamic servo applications with a wide speed range and variable load. This servo motor series offers one of the largest power ranges in the industry and can, therefore, be loaded with torques and currents substantially higher than the nominal ones. AM servo motors are designed for a torque overload capacity of 2 - 4 times the rated torque, achieving continuous stall torque values ​​of 0.42 to 140 Nm [3.7 - 1239 lb/in]. 

The modular design of the AM series supports a variety of customization options in the following areas: 

  • Voltage constants (from about 1 to 500 V min. / 1000)
  • Winding and insulation systems designed for different intermediate circuit voltages (12 V, 24 V, 48 V, 330 V, 560 V and 700 VDC)
  • Special rotor for higher speed applications with double or triple bandage, 2 or 4-pole variants for high speed motors
  • Active lengths
  • Mechanical design of flange and shaft end
  • Bearings for special applications requiring higher radial and axial forces on the shaft end
  • Different types of encoders
  • Specifications that meet special environmental requirements (e.g. higher temperature, chemical environment, etc.)
