Moog Reports 17% Increase in Earnings Per Share

Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) today announced second quarter earnings of $35 million and earnings per share of $.77, a 17% increase over last year. Total sales of $625 million were up $51 million, or 9%, from a year ago.

Moog Announces Contract for High Lift System on COMAC C919 Commercial Transport

East Aurora, NY–Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) and the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) signed a contract today for the High Lift System on the C919, COMAC’s new narrow body commercial transport. The Moog high lift system will include all flap and slat actuation, pilot interfaces, electronic controls, power drive units, wing tip brakes, gearboxes and miscellaneous components.

East Aurora, NY—Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) today announced first quarter sales of $601 million, up 8% from a year ago. Net earnings were $36.4 million and earnings per share were $.80, up 10% from last year’s first quarter.
