Vibration Suppression and Control
Vibration Suppression and Control Systems are employed to sense and suppress vibratory forces in structures and payloads. Passive Systems use dampers and absorbers mechanically tuned to a fixed frequency. Active Systems measure vibration at key locations on the platform and dynamically apply a spectrum of cancellation forces in an equal and opposite direction.
When unwanted vibration compromises your product or system; unacceptably degrading performance, reducing lifetime, or causing failures, Moog can help implement a solution. Our established product families were developed after decades of experience with custom devices and systems. If you have specialized needs that cannot be met exactly by Moog's existing products or other available technology, we engineer custom versions and tailor new products to meet application-specific requirements.
