Award recognizes the impact of Moog's first Week of Action
In November, Moog was honored to receive the 2025 Community Stewardship Award from the WNY Sustainable Business Roundtable. This collaborative group of over 70 local member organizations works to accelerate the integration of sustainability in business in the WNY region.
The award recognized Moog's recent Week of Action, for both its positive impact on people, community and planet, and also for the ways the event activated local sites to plan and execute initiatives based on their own strengths, resources, and local community needs.
In the words of SBR Presenter Amanda Pike:
"The recipient of SBR’s Community Stewardship Award must be an extraordinary supporter and advocate of WNY. The winner must show tangible efforts to make a positive impact on the community in which they operate and demonstrate how this impact builds long-term community resilience for future generations. We are honored to present this year’s Community Stewardship Award to Moog Inc, an organization showing that sustainability isn’t just about reporting and targets - it’s about people, places, and the power of collective action.
The Moog team understands that global change begins locally and that environmental stewardship and social equity are inseparable. By empowering employees to lead, they've created a model for sustained community engagement that will ripple outward for years to come."
Congratulations to all those who played a part in the success of Week of Action. This recognition exemplifies the future we can build when we remember We're All In This Together.
