Moog to Showcase its Range of Electro-Mechanical Solutions at Mecspe 2019

Milan, Italy (28 March 2019) - Moog will be participating at MECSPE 2019, to be held in Parma, Italy  from 28 to 30 March. Moog will be displaying its motion control” products and systems designed to satisfy our customers’ application requirements. Our theme line, “What moves your world,” expresses Moog’s technology-neutral approach, which involves collaborating closely with machine manufacturers to provide the right combination of electric, hydraulic and hybrid technologies to ensure the highest level of performance and reliability.

At MECSPE, Moog will be showcasing for the first time its new Moog Servo Controller III (MSCIII) a high-performance programmable multi-axis Servo Controller with PLC functionality to provide high performance motion control for hydraulic, hybrid and electrical applications. With an analog or digital interface, it is suitable for numerous applications such as plastic injection-molding, blow-molding, packaging and metal-forming machines.

Moog will also present a wide range of electro-mechanical products, including Fastact H and linear servo motors, MA linear actuators and our range of DX2020 Servo Drives. Ball screws available in precision class 1 (in accordance with the ISO 3408 standard) and roller screws designed for applications where less noise and high load capacity are required also will be on display.

Moog will also display it Electro-Hydrostatic Pump Unit that is at the heart of electrohydrostatic actuation and helps enable the deployment of a decentralized drive system. This eliminates the need for a hydraulic power unit and complex piping and helps reducing the overall machine footprint. The compact product design features a unique interface that enables direct mounting on to a cylinder, thereby minimizing the requirement of additional space on each axis.

“Over the past few years, we have invested over €6 million to acquire cutting-edge machinery and technologies, while also enhancing production and engineering resources,” commented Gabriella Poletti, Managing Director of Moog Italiana: “MECSPE is an important opportunity for us to present our Total Solution to the marketplace and learn more about the latest requirements from our customers. By continually engaging with the market, Moog continues to develop innovative, high-performance motion control systems. The pillars of Moog Italiana’s strategy is to invest in the technology, flexible production facilities and engineering resources to be able to satisfy customer requests, and help them to deliver a competitive advantage to the marketplace”
