Moog to Exhibit Multi-Domain Mission Critical Solutions at Space and Missile Defense Symposium 2023

East Aurora, NY (July 26, 2023) – Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) Space and Defense Group will highlight multi-domain, mission-critical solutions to an expected audience of over 5,800 industry professionals at the Space and Missile Defense (SMD) Symposium 2023 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, AL. Moog will be hosting visitors in Booth 608 in the South Hall from August 8-10. Here, attendees can view the Reconfigurable Integrated-weapons Platform (RIwP®) and Small Launch Orbital Maneuvering Vehicle (SL-OMV). Additionally, on display will be Moog’s missile technologies including a new missile model featuring high-speed and tactical control surface actuators engineered for precision missile steering.

The RIwP exhibit will feature several interchangeable missile launchers, including a Stinger Vehicle Universal Launcher (SVUL) and a Coyote Launcher on the same base platform along with the 30x113mm gun, 7.62 Coax and MX GCS sight. A second SVUL and an APKWS (70mm rocket) launcher will complement the exhibit showing the audience other effectors that can be swapped depending on mission needs. The platform- and weapon-agnostic RIwP provides industry leading capability to host maximum lethality missile payloads while increasing warfighter survivability with the ability to reload direct fire weapons under the protection of armor.

Moog will also highlight its space vehicles capabilities. Moog has developed a family of space vehicles and are currently manufacturing and delivering these vehicles for commercial and defense missions. The Orbital Maneuvering Vehicle (OMV) and the SL-OMV space vehicles are multi-purposed and can be used as a propulsive tug or for secondary payload deployment. These vehicles are also payload configurable for CubeSats through ESPA-Class spacecraft. They can disperse CubeSats constellations or deliver ESPA-Class spacecraft to their ideal orbit. They have their own avionics, power, propulsion, and communications systems that are highly configurable.
