Series D638 and D639 - Direct Driven Valves (DDV) for pressure and flow control (p/Q) with analog and optional fieldbus interface

The Moog D638 and D639 series valves are direct operated servo valves with integrated electronics, an internal pressure transducer and optional fieldbus interface. The servo valves of the D638 and Moog D639 series offer a direct drive with a permanent magnet linear motor, which moves the valve spool directly and eliminates the need for pilot oil. They are available in nominal sizes 03 (D638) and 05 (D639) in accordance with ISO 4401.

The servo valves were developed with the most demanding customer requirements in mind and are characterized by high functional flexibility, pressure-independent dynamics, high actuating force and low power consumption.

Features:

  • Directly driven by linear force motor: No pilot flow required
  • Linear force motor with high force range (improves operating limits): No flow limitations
  • Directly driven design: Pressure-independent dynamic performance
  • Low current consumption at and near hydraulic null
  • Spool is in spring-centered position at loss of power supply: Actuator stops
  • Integrated digital electronics with integrated pressure transducer allows a high grade of flexibility
