Moog Demonstrates Electrohydrostatic Actuation Systems at SPS ICP Drives

Presenting a complete range of motors and drives products in Nuremberg, Germany

28 November 2017

Moog will be demonstrating its broad range of products including its newly launched electrohydrostatic actuation system at stand 500 in hall 3 at SPS ICP in Nuremberg, Germany from 28-30 November 2017.

Electrohydrostatic Actuation Systems (EAS) are emerging as viable options for industrial machine builders seeking for compact alternatives to traditional hydraulic or electromechanical motion control solutions. Based on the Electrohydrostatic Pump Unit (EPU), the EAS combines the EPU  and any optional parts a customer might need, such as drives, manifolds, or cylinders.

Robert Luong, Marketing Manager, Moog Inc., said, “We are displaying our latest electrohydrostatic technologies and capabilities for equipment manufacturers (OEMs), system integrators and end-users, who are increasingly seeking cleaner and energy efficient products without compromising on the requirement for high forces. With our EAS, customers that want a complete solution can now get everything from a single supplier. And, of course, it is all based on Moog’s long experience and expertise in manufacturing motors and pumps, as well as our technical support.”

In addition, Moog will also present its broad range of servo motors and servo  drives, including standard and customized solutions, large motors and smart motors. Other displays include ball and inverted rollers screws and Rekofa Slip Rings. Visitors can also find out more about Moog’s Two-You program for fast prototyping .
