Moog to Participate at EuroBLECH, October 25 – 28 October

EuroBLECH is the largest international trade show for the sheet metal and metal working industries, and features over 1,500 exhibitors from 40 countries. This year Moog will highlight its technology open’ approach, offering electric, hydraulic and hybrid technologies. This approach helps metal forming and metal working machine builders make use of the right  technology that enables them to achieve all of their performance goals.

"The goal of our participation at EuroBLECH this year is to allow design engineers and machine builders to experience our ‘technology open’ approach. For more than 50 years, Moog has been a leading supplier of electrohydraulic, electromechanical and hydrid motion control solutions, helping forward-thinking machine builders develop the best technology for new applications.", notes Harald Branz, Moog Industrial’s Products and Services Business Sales Manager, Central Europe.

At EuroBLECH, Moog will present its Modular Die Cushion System. Moog`s new system includes a main cylinder with integrated position measuring technology, accumulators, a hydraulic power unit and a number of manifolds. The system features software libraries, and the control unit’s hardware components provide a compact, robust hydraulic system enabling highly dynamic control.

Also on display at this year’s show will be one of Moog’s other key new products, its Modular  Electrohydrostatic Actuation System (Modular EAS). The EAS is a next-generation, hybrid system designed to combine the advantages of both electro-hydraulic and electro-mechanical technologies. It brings together the reduced consumption of an electrical system, and the power of a highly reliable hydraulic system with easy energy storage for failsafe motion.

To complete the exhibit, electromechanical actuators will also be an display as an important part of Moog's bright motion control solutions for the metal forming and presses market. They help customers find optimal solutions for specific machine requirements across multiple applications.

“Moog is totally committed to its long-standing relationship with the metal forming industry, and we look forward to explaining how our technology-open approach with a focus on reliability, flexibility, innovation and high performance in motion control can help customers meet all their technology requirements. We are looking forward to welcoming many visitors to our booth and discussing how we can shape the future together,” notes Uwe Braun, Moog Industrial’s Products and Services Business New Businesses Sales Manager, Central Europe.
