This significant business supports all fielded U.S. Army SGT Stout systems, a critical component of our nation's defense infrastructure. Moog will deliver spares through June 2026 per the contract agreement.
“Our commitment to providing high-quality, reliable, and innovative solutions to the U.S. Army is unwavering. As the Reconfigurable Integrated-weapons Platform (RIwP®) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Moog is eager to deliver the necessary RIwP spare parts to assure the fielded turrets are at the highest level of operational readiness,” said Tony Peck, Moog Weapon Systems General Manager. “Through collaboration with Leonardo DRS, this contract underscores our dedication to equipping those who defend freedom.”
The SGT Stout Program, formally known as Maneuver-Short Range Air Defense (M-SHORAD), is a mobile air defense system designed to protect ground units against a variety of aerial threats including unmanned drones.
As Moog and Leonardo DRS continue their collaboration in support of the U.S. Army, discussions are underway for a potential year three spares order.
