Moog Celebrates Grand Opening of Operations Training Center

East Aurora, NY -- Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B), a worldwide designer, manufacturer and systems integrator of high-performance precision motion and fluid controls and control systems, today proudly hosted the grand opening of its new Operations Training Center, marking an exciting milestone in advancing local manufacturing expertise.

Located just miles from Moog’s East Aurora headquarters, the innovative 13,000-square-foot facility will provide hands-on training and career development paths, ensuring the advanced manufacturing workforce can meet the growing manufacturing demand for important national defense projects within the aerospace and defense markets.

The event welcomed more than 100 guests, including Director of the U.S. Navy Maritime Industrial Base (MIB) Erica Holloway Logan and Moog CEO and President Pat Roche, who toured the new state-of-the-art training center. During the event, the facility was officially unveiled, highlighting the investments in advanced manufacturing equipment, multiple training work centers, assembly and test areas, and modern classroom spaces; all of which mirror the current tools and processes used by Moog employees every day. The standardized and streamlined training center design improves training quality, consistency, and efficiency.

This new facility is partly funded by an investment from the U.S. Navy MIB Program, underscoring the importance and availability of skilled trades supporting national security programs and local career pathways.

During the ceremony, leaders from Moog and distinguished guests highlighted the importance of ongoing investment in talent.

Erica Holloway Logan, Director of the U.S. Navy MIB stated, “This center is what ‘right’ looks like when the Maritime Industrial Base was first envisioned. This is a great example of how organizations can support Navy programs through investments in people and skill development, as people are what matter. We are proud of this investment, grateful to the learners who will come through these doors, and to the teachers who will guide them. Our hope is to replicate this success across the United States.”

Pat Roche, CEO of Moog added, “Talent development is a strategic priority across our organization. The leadership team at Moog is dedicated to investing in comprehensive training programs that will cultivate a strong talent pipeline of skilled professionals in advanced machining and technical manufacturing trades. Our company believes in investing in talent development to build a vibrant local economy with good jobs that support families and sustain the region.”

The Operations Training Center exemplifies Moog’s commitment to building a strong local workforce through continuous learning and career development. This facility ensures that Moog maintains manufacturing excellence today and secures the company as a trusted partner in delivering precision mission-critical products for its customers for decades to come.
