Moog Exhibits the Newly Launched Electrohydrostatic Pump Unit at Pacific 2017 Sydney 3- 5 October

27 September 2017

Moog today announced its participation to Pacific 2017, Sydney from 3 until 5 October at the Victorian Government Pavilion – Booth Number 3G10 – Pod 7.

Visitors to the stand can discover Moog products, solutions and services, and especially the newly introduced Electrohydrostatic Pump Unit (EPU), which helps machine builders and end-users derive the combined benefits of both hydraulic and electric actuation.

The Moog EPU is at the heart of electrohydrostatic actuation and enables the deployment of a decentralized drive system. This eliminates the need for a hydraulic power unit (HPU) and complex piping thereby reducing the overall machine footprint. It has been developed to meet the needs of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), system integrators and end-users, who increasingly seek cleaner and energy efficient products without compromising on the requirement for high forces. Manufacturers and system integrators can use the Moog EPU for large, marine applications such as fuel processing, bilge systems, ballast water distribution and firefighting systems as well as other industrial applications such as metal-forming, injection molding and die-casting, gas and steam turbines and wind turbine pitch control.

Visitors can also meet with our team onsite.  Sanjay Krishnaswamy, Sales & Application Engineer, and Peter Heitmann, Sales & Business Development Management, will be available to discuss motion control requirements

Bryan O’Connor, Managing Director, Moog Australia said: “Moog is a designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision motion control products and solutions. Our motion control solutions provide the highest level of performance in many industrial applications. Our engineers always work with customers to determine the best technology based on their unique machine requirements.”
